Not only was the food gone, the breaker on surge protector was flipped! This was the surest sign so far that I'd succeeded! There's no way a mouse could survive a blast like that.... right?
I checked around and couldn't find a body. Either the little bastard crawled off somewhere to die, another mouse cannibalized the corpse, or it was blown into some dank corner. In the spirit of habeas corpus I won't call this a success. I need a body.
The mouse not only at the seeds, all traces of peanut butter were gone. Again, there was no body. I don't see how this could have happened. Maybe the mouse knew enough to avoid the wires? |
