    I decided to try my wife's "Soy Nuts" as bait the first day.  She's a vegetation so she buys a lot of weird food.  Supposedly they're good for you, which means they don't have much flavor.  Soy nuts are hippie food.  Like hippies, mice are smelly, barefoot, furry creatures.  Mice are slutty too, only they're not intelligent enough to try to justify it as "free love."
    I decided to use the generic mouse trap with the soy nuts.  I really doubted the vermin would fall for it.  It had evaded traps for well over a month so far.  But hey, maybe I'd get lucky.
