The next day two traps were sprung. I assume one went off and took the other with it. There was no corpse. I wasn't sure if it was a mouse, or if a trap went off on it's own.
I reset the traps and nudged them back into their spots. Then I noticed that the pile of birdseed was different. Some of the seed had been scattered.
Upon closer inspection I noticed that most of the sunflower seeds had been carried off. There were sunflower seed shells laying around as well. Something *had* got to the bait. Scientific notation: I just finished my last bottle of beer. I need to get a keg-refrigerator. |
