Nope.

    The dumb-ass mouse gnawed through half the pretzel.  If it had taken another couple bites, or had decided to floss it's teeth, it'd be swinging.  

    You may be thinking that this trap doesn't have a ghost of a chance.  Oddly enough, I was pretty optimistic about it.  Many a GI-Joe have lost their lived to my snares in my younger years (usually the dumb girl figures.  They seemed to die a lot.).  Anyway, I figured I'd put the snare to the test.

First I prodded the pretzel with a block of wood.  The pretzel stub took a little more pressure to snap than I though it would.

Once the pretzel was freed, the noose shot into the air and snagged the block from my hand.  The block was yanked from my scientific (yet oh so supple) fingers as the beer-filled counterweight came crashing to the ground.

Dead wood.
