What we have here is a rogue cardinal.  When a wild animal gets used to humans it becomes an unpredictable menace of Hitchcock proportions.  Today it attacks living room windows.  Tomorrow it could be ambulance windshields.  Hey, this is kill or be killed, people.

The goal of this project it to stop the cardinal from attacking my windows.  It leaves saliva streaks on the windows (maybe it's urine?) and crap all over the outside of my house.  If it does manage to damage a custom sized living room window, getting that replaced will cost a bundle.  Oh... and I wouldn't mind a little retribution for having to replace the mirror unit on the SUV.

Something tells me that unlike MASKI, I won't be able to make a cardinal kill itself by serving it alcohol.  Although, a mouse trap on the window sill might work.  Hmmmm....

Unfortunately I made the mistake of telling my wife about this project.  She threatened to report me personally to the authorities should I harm the bird.  Really, I don't see a permanent way to remove the bird without harm.  Therefore I have cancelled this project.  If I come up with more non-lethal removal ideas (fake owls and such) I may come back to it.  Until then you'll have to amuse yourselves with my other projects.
